Dear friends,
Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers for Paul. We have met another Oncologist surgeon today to review the results from yesterday’s Pet Scan and prior CT scan. His opinion is that there is some conflicting information of the results hence at present; the exact diagnosis is still inconclusive. As such, Paul had taken another blood test (result will be tomorrow, Wednesday 8th August 2007) to enable him to form a more accurate assessment of the condition. We are meeting the Oncologist tomorrow for a review based on more information from the biopsy and blood test.
Please pray for the following:
- Pray that the test result tomorrow is favorable and the primary source of tumor is the pancreas and not the liver. Pray also that it won’t be two primary sources!
- Uphold Paul and family to be strong and supportive of each other.
- Strengthen Paul physically and mentally to receive treatment such that his body reacts positively to the treatment and able to fight the tumor well.
We appreciate your support, love and continued prayers for Paul. May God bless each and every one of us!

I had forwarded the updates to my church network to pray.
We want to claim healings and bind all schemes and works of the devil.
Pray that he and his family will draw near to God and their faith be strengthened to go through this crisis together, victoriously.
Thanks for the updates, will continue to pray for Paul Tan.
God bless.

Pray for One Another – by Richard Roberts
——————————————————————————–
One Bible way for you to be healed is to pray for someone else’s healing. When I was a student at Oral Roberts University, one of the faculty members was diagnosed with cancer and was told that she was going to die. She read James 5:16, which says, Pray one for another, that ye may be healed. She got hold of that Scripture in her spirit, and she made a list of people she knew who had cancer. She began to pray for their healing, and soon her own cancer disappeared!
I used to think that verse told us to pray for another person’s healing so that they would be healed. Of course, you’re praying for their healing also, but the Scripture says to pray for one another that you may be healed as well. As you use your faith to pray for their healing, you are sowing a seed of prayer into their life for healing to come back to you.
When I begin a healing service, I often ask people to turn and pray for one another. Many times as they are praying for someone else, the Lord will heal them!
It doesn’t require any special calling or training to pray for someone. It’s something God tells every believer to do. If you’re a police officer, a firefighter, a housewife, or a banker, you are to bring healing to people in need. And as you do, you put yourself in a position for healing to come back to you.

Paul, your mind must be in a whirl right now with many whys and hows. Put yourself in His hands and entrust yourself to Him. Allow Him to talk to you.
I will pray for strength for you and your family and I will pray that they may be wrong in their original findings and that the results are favourable.
Some words for quiet moments from Emilee Hines:
Years ago, when my husband, Fred, moved to California, he was lucky enough to find an affordable apartment with a view of the ocean. However, several utility wires that were strung in front of his window marred the view. Each day he’d look out at the surf and curse the utility company that had hung the wires in such an intrusive place.
One day a friend came to visit. He wandered to the window and looked out. “You’ve got a great view here,” the friend said to my husband. “And you’re doubly-lucky. Just look at all those beautiful birds on the wires.”
Fred looked. There was a half-dozen varieties, some sitting, others coming in for a quick landing, then flying away. In the past, he’d never noticed the birds, just the offending wires. He picked up binoculars and began to observe the gift he had just outside his window.
Paul, amidst this troubling time, discover the power of love from your friends and loved ones and draw strength from them. Keep your spirit and mind with you always.
MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU!
